Vintage Vendor Agreement
We're gearing up for the swellest event of the summer here on the lakeshore: Mid-Mod Manitowoc is just around the corner, and we want you to be a part of it! On July 12th and 13th, Manitowoc Aluminum Kitschmas, inc. (MAKi) will be hosting a summer convention for collectors of vintage mid-century aluminum, with many of the festivities open to the public. An aluminum tree show, classic car show and food truck corral, educational seminars, tours, banquet and auction are just a few of the offerings, and the event will be a huge attraction for visitors from both near and far.
A focal point of the weekend will be the Vintage Vendor Market: an event spread over two days that will be open to convention-goers and the general public alike - this is where you come in! We're looking for vendors with anything vintage, mid-mod, 50's-60's-70's, from furniture to fashion. Art, jewelry, homegoods, smalls, tchotchkies - you name it! If you have stuff to sell, we want you there! Anything and everything mid-mod hip or retro is welcome... And the best part is that it is free for you to participate! We're asking only for a security deposit of $100 that will reserve your booth space. Those funds will then be returned to you on Saturday evening.
THE DETAILS:
Location: Inn on Maritime Bay, 101 Maritime Dr. Manitowoc, Wisconsin
Convention space hallway and restaurant area will be reserved for vendor booths. Weather permitting, booths may spill out onto the patio and into the parking lot in front of the venue.
Schedule:
Friday July 12th
7:00AM - Setup begins
9:30AM - Market open to convention-goers only
12:00PM - Market open to the general public
5:00PM - Market to remain open until 5PM (vendors may stay later if they wish. A food truck-corral and classic car show will be occurring simultaneously from 4-9 in the parking lot outside). Vendors will be given the opportunity to leave their booths and merchandise set up overnight - the hall will be locked at 9:00PM, and remain so until 9:00AM the following morning.
Saturday, July 13th
9:00AM - Market open to the general public
3:00PM - Vendors are encouraged to begin packing up their booths
5:30PM - Banquet hall and bar open for evening convention banquet and auction (main section of convention space hallway should be cleared).

Checks should be made payable to MAKi - After submitting the following form, please send payment postmarked no later than June 28th, 2024. Security deposits will be returned to vendors on July13th in the form of their original voided check - though a donation to MAKi and our efforts would be greatly appreciated!
Vendors will be given one table and up to two chairs supplied by MAKi via the Inn on Maritime Bay (herein known as the "Venue"). Any other items including tablecloths, extension cords, canopies or tents where applicable, must be supplied by the Vendor.
Venue furnished electricity, water, and bathroom facilities will be available for Vendor use during market hours (FRI 7AM-9PM, SAT 9AM-4:00PM)
Vendors are responsible for leaving the market venue in a state identical to that in which they found it.
MAKi reserves the right to censor or remove any vendor for any reason.
MAKi and the Inn on Maritime Bay will not be held responsible for any lost, stolen, damaged items, merchandise and/or personal property, and will not be liable for any injury incurred during the Mid-Mod Manitowoc Summer Convention Event.
