Car Show Exhibitor Registration
We're gearing up for the swellest event of the summer here on the lakeshore: Mid-Mod Manitowoc is just around the corner, and we want you to be a part of it! On July 12th and 13th, Manitowoc Aluminum Kitschmas, inc. (MAKi) will be hosting a summer convention for collectors of vintage mid-century aluminum, with many of the festivities open to the public. An aluminum tree show, vintage vendor market, food truck corral, educational seminars, tours, banquet and auction are just a few of the offerings, and the event will be a huge attraction for visitors from both near and far.
A key event for the weekend will be a Classic Car Show on Friday evening that will be open to convention-goers and the general public alike - this is where you come in! We're looking for anyone and everyone who can participate, particularly those with cars from the mid-20th century: the 1950's and 60's, but the 1940's and 70's would be excellent, too!
The show is paired with a food truck corral right outside the convention venue, the Inn on Maritime Bay in Manitowoc. It is slated to be the featured event on Friday evening for convention goers and anyone attending a vintage vendor market inside happening at the same time. The best part of all is that it is free for you to participate! We're asking only for a security deposit of $15 that will reserve your space in the lot. Those funds will then be returned to you on Saturday evening. The show will also have a contest component; the public will vote on their three top favorite entrants, and the winners will receive invitations to our convention banquet and auction the following evening (along with bragging rights!)
THE DETAILS:
Location: Inn on Maritime Bay, 101 Maritime Dr. Manitowoc, Wisconsin
Parking lot space will be cordoned off for the classic car show, alongside an area reserved for the food truck corral.
Schedule for Car Show Entrants:
Friday July 12th
1:00PM - Entrants may begin arriving and find their space in the Inn on Maritime Bay parking lot. Cars should be in place no later that 4:00PM.
4:00PM - 9:00PM Car show and Food Truck Corral open to convention-goers and the general public.
Occurring Simultaneously: Vintage Vendor Market open until 5:00PM (or later if vendors wish), Food Truck Corral runs from 4:00PM-9:00PM, and an outdoor classic movie double feature will be shown on the Inn on Maritime Bay terrace starting at 7:00.

Cost: $15 Security Deposit (Please make checks payable to MAKi). Security deposits will be returned to vendors on July 12th in the form of their original voided check - though a donation to MAKi and our efforts would be greatly appreciated!
Ample space for one vehicle will be reserved in the Inn on Maritime Bay parking lot. Any extraneous items deemed necessary by the exhibitor must be self-furnished, including chairs, canopies or tents where applicable, etc.
Venue furnished electricity, water, and bathroom facilities will be available for Exhibitor use during show hours (FRI 4PM-9PM).
Exhibitors are responsible for leaving the Show Venue in a state identical to that in which they found it.
MAKi reserves the right to censor or remove any Exhibitor for any reason.
MAKi and the Inn on Maritime Bay will not be held responsible for any lost, stolen, damaged items, merchandise and/or personal property, and will not be liable for any injury incurred during the Mid-Mod Manitowoc Summer Convention Event.
